A little bit about me:
I am Berkeley Harner and I am the band director here at Kate Collins Middle School in Waynesboro, Virginia. I earned my Bachelor of Music Education degree with an emphasis on percussion from Shenandoah University in 2002. I taught both middle and high school band/choir in Madison County from 2002 - 2010 and in Augusta County at Riverheads High School from 2010 - 2015.
I am an active clinician, adjudicator, and arranger for instrumental programs throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. I currently perform with the Virginia Consort Proper and Festival Chorus as both a singer and guest percussionist. I am also a proud endorser of Promark drumsticks.
I currently live in Staunton, Virginia with my wife, Lillie (Choir teacher extraordinaire), 5 year old son, Stuart and 2 year old son, Evan (Future musicians), orange tabby cat, Bailey (Professional sleeper), and Jack-a-Bee dog, Wilson (Who loves to jump!).
I love working at KCMS and I am looking forward to working with each of you to create some great music.
